NBA Season Update

The NBA has released their plans on resuming the 2019-20 season, allowing 22 teams to participate in 88 games starting July 30. While we’d love to offer some additional fantasy gameplay, we’ve determined that it will be best for the current season to be concluded as is.

One of the key reasons we came to this conclusion is due to the narrowed player pool and the challenges that would pose to owners with players from those teams; there simply may not be a fair way to handle the player shortage in all leagues.

For now, leagues may see the top ranked team with the championship trophy, however our plan is to remove the trophy as the season will be considered incomplete.

While we don’t have the capability for commissioners to designate a specific team as the season champion via the tool at this time, if you do want to declare a champion for the 2019-2020 season, we recommend sharing the news via the Commissioner’s Note and posting the details in the league forum.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at info@fleaflicker.com. Thank you for playing fantasy basketball on Fleaflicker this season, and we look forward the start of the 2020-2021 season; leagues will be able to be activated later this summer!
